  1. Wash and soak parboiled rice+ fenugreek seeds and urad dal separately for 6 hours. First grind soaked urad dal in wet grinder then add soaked parboiled rice with fenugreek seeds..to make idli batter. Ferment this batter for overnight.
  2. Grind green chillies, ginger, chopped spinach, coriander leaves and salt in mixer to make smooth paste. Add it to fermented batter. Mix well.
  3. Add cummin seeds and cashewnuts pieces. Mix well.
  4. Grease each cavities of Appe pan with oil. 1 tbsp of spinach batter in each cavity. Cover and cook until lower side turns crispy golden brown. Flip and cook until other side turns crispy golden brown.
  5. Serve/ Relish Delicious Hot Spinach Appe with coriander-coconut chutney.
  6. To prepare coriander- coconut chutney.. grind all mentioned ingredients in mixer jar add curd to make smooth chutney.
