- Cooking Oil for deep frying
- For making rice
- 1 bowl basmati rice
- 2 bowls water

- Mix all the ingredients for making kadhi batter in a mixing bowl and beat thoroughly. Add 1 litre of water and mix well. Keep aside.
- Now heat oil in a karahi and put cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put finely chopped ginger sauté for 1 minute. Add garlic and saute for another minute. Add asafetida.

- Now add these pakodas in kadhi batter and cook for 5 minutes till pakodas become soft. Swith off the flame.

- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and garam masala.
- In a separate pan heat 2 bowls of water and add 1 bowl of washed and soaked rice and cook on low flame till water is absorbed. Boiled rice is ready.
- Serve hot with kadhi
